The Rushed Behind's Nick D'Urbano has capped off a brilliant year after taking out the Youth Personality of the Year Award at Channel 31's Antenna Awards.
D'Urbano was deemed the winner by Channel 31's panel of judges, ousting young talents from The Struggle, Off the Couch with Ethan, Undercurrent and Half Hour.
The host of the football talk show was humbled to take home the Antenna Award, saying it was "surreal" that the efforts of The Rushed Behind had been recognised.
"I did not prepare anything for this, because in all honesty I didn't even expect to win," D'Urbano said during his speech.
"When I think about it, only three years ago I was struggling to speak in front of my own VCE English class, and now I'm Youth Personality of the Year."
"I'm lost for words in all honesty."
D'Urbano gave a special thanks to everyone who had made the show possible, with Phil Kafcaloudes, Luke Raisbeck, RMIT and Channel 31 among the lengthy list.
But D'Urbano saved the biggest thanks for director Will Watson and his fellow panellists Chris Nice, Brooke Varney and Athos Sirianos.
"I couldn't do it without you if it wasn't for you... you guys are absolute gems," D'Urbano said.
The Rushed Behind aired 32 episodes for the year, culminating in their Live Grand Final Special last Thursday, which featured exclusive interview with Brett Ratten and Jeff 'Joffa' Corfe.
