The Rushed Behind will return in 2020 as it enters its third season on Channel 31.
The show will move from last year's Thursday evening slot to Friday nights, airing weekly one-hour episodes beginning at 6:00pm.
Despite the Federal Government's decision to boot Community TV off-air in June of this year, The Rushed Behind is determined to do everything possible to keep the beloved station afloat.
THE RUSHED BEHIND RETURNS FRIDAY 20 MARCH AT 6PM, ONLY ON CHANNEL 31
The show will have a strong focus on the importance and necessity of Community TV in 2020, with several projects - including a mini-documentary - already in the works.
After taking out an Antenna Award at the end of 2019, The Rushed Behind is intent on carrying their momentum into the new year, promising to deliver engaging, humorous and unique episodes ahead of the 2020 AFL Season.
And no stone will be left unturned as the fight to keep Community TV alive gets underway.
"It's a pretty tough pill to swallow hearing news like this," panellist Chris Nice said.
"Community TV has done so much for so many people over such a long time, and provides really critical opportunities for aspiring talents both in front of and behind the camera.
"We wouldn't be here today if not for Channel 31, and we're ready to pick up the fight and do whatever possible to keep the dream for so many people alive."
The potential closure of the network reinvigorated the panel ahead of the new year, which has translated into a fresh, new format of the show.
"It's so easy to get stuck down in a weekly routine and take it all for granted," D'Urbano said.
"In 2020 we're going to try to break the mold, and have a lot of fun doing it.
"If we're going to go out, then we're going to do it with a bang."
The Rushed Behind will air its first episode of 2020 on Friday 20 March, exclusively on Channel 31.
